FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your philosophy/approach to wedding photography?

Our goal is to make honest, authentic, and creative photographs. Weddings are a combination of photojournalism and set-up portraiture, and we are constantly trying to maintain a balance between the two. Most people aren’t completely themselves in front of a camera, so we set up an environment that allows you to be yourselves. We wait until it feels natural before we start shooting.

Do you always work together?

We shot weddings full-time together for 5 years, but now that we have 2 kids that can't be left alone every weekend, I (Chad) have become the primary photogrpaher. I shoot most of the weddings myself, but If you are having a large wedding, or would simply prefer to have 2 photographers, either Rebecca or another awesome photographer can come along.

Are you exclusively wedding photographers?

We love weddings and couples, so almost all of our time & energy is devoted to that. We do take a limited number of other commissions, so CONTACT us and we can discuss it.

What are your packages/prices?

Wedding packages start at $3,500 and include wedding day coverage, a download of 400-500 high-resolution images, 4x6 prints of each of the 400-500 images in a presentation box, and an online gallery with shopping cart for family and friends. Portrait sessions are $500 and include a download of 75-100 high-resolution images. CONTACT us for more detailed information.

How many images will I receive in my download?

A lot. We usually deliver 400-500 individually edited images per wedding.

Do you offer a photobooth?

WE SURE DO! We love the photobooth, and so will your guests. We bring the photobooth and the white seamless backdrop (or ask about creating a custom designed backdrop), you bring the props (if you want), and go crazy. The photobooth is triggered by YOU with a remote, and the images are displayed on a screen. They are available to your guests as a FREE digital download 2 days after the wedding, and you get all of the high resolution files with your wedding images. More information can be found HERE.

Are you available for travel?

Yes Yes Yes. We love to travel! We are located near Boston, mainly working in New England and New York, but are available for travel nationally and internationally. We would figure a cost for travel and give you a quote up front.

What is the process for booking a date with you?

Booking a date is on a first-come, first-served basis. First, CONTACT us for availability. We require a signed contract and a $1000 non-refundable deposit to book your date. The remaining balance is then due 14 days prior to your wedding date.

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely. We carry 1 million dollars in liability coverage. If your venue requires proof, we can provide a certificate.

Do you shoot film or digital?

We shoot almost all of our work digitally, using Canon professional cameras and lenses.
